MKM produces Shin Do Kumaté – a professional Martial Arts fighting event similar to Muay Thai featuring the highest caliber male and female athletes from around the world. Our ancient theme production includes reality documentaries of each athlete, exciting technical bouts, and skill levels beyond any other fight sport in the industry. We package our media rich content for global distribution via all available media platforms including pay per view, video on demand, global television networks, mobile, and internet. The products under the umbrella of MKM include a series of live events, newly produced media content/programs along with an extensive library of archived programs, a 13-episode weekly TV series along with two seasons already produced, Strykerz sports apparel brand and Martial Arts protective gear, as well as a social network site built to unite the immense global fight community of Boxing, MMA, Martial Arts, Muay Thai and Wrestling. The owners and founding members of this venture have invested in this project and have a substantial equity interest in it, thereby heightening their commitment to MKM.

Our Mission - is to capture the global fight market while the market is wide open by providing the highest quality fight sport to all fight fans, mainstream television, and Corporate America. We seek to engross an untapped market of culturally rich, educated audiences of men, women and teens who are highly intrigued by the mystique of Ancient Martial Arts by delivering a concept that we have been driving since 2002 by way of historically themed live events, highly skilled matches and compelling fighter documentaries. Our mission is also to help underprivileged children by way of televised fighter endorsements.

Yolanda Moayedi founded Fighting For Children, Inc., a nonprofit organization, after realizing how easily it would be to utilize the production resources and media outlets of Shin Do Kumaté by simply asking select athletes to be a voice for a child.

Purpose and Background - As an active professional heavyweight fighter with four decades of traditional Martial Arts experience, Master Mehrdad recognized the downfall of the fighting industry and saw the need for an exciting combat sport in North America that appeals to a broad audience. In 1995, he predicted that Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) would take the place of boxing and wrestling; however, MMA took a turn towards full contact wrestling and lost its original meaning of ― “mixed martial arts” when MMA hit mainstream. The barbaric ―street fighting‖ style of MMA draws a very narrow demographic of males ages 18 to 32 and to their disadvantage, cage fights do not appeal to the general Boxing population or the traditional Martial Arts communities. As a visionary, Master Mehrdad has followed the trend of the fighting industry and recognized with the fall of Boxing and the rise of MMA, that there was a large gap in the industry that needed to be filled. Shin Do Kumaté has all of the boxing elements, while capturing the high caliber skill and excitement of striking that appeal to the worldwide Boxing and Martial Arts industries. The massive demographic within the traditional Martial Arts communities include men, women, and youth who train in Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Kung Fu, and all Far Eastern styles that encompass blockbuster movies such as Crouching Tiger, Charlie’s Angel, and Last Samurai. Shin Do Kumaté, as a professional sporting event, is borne from some of the greatest traditions of Martial Arts, and is a showcase for true Martial Artistry. Unlike other extreme sporting events, such as cage fighting, Shin Do Kumaté does not allow grappling or wrestling. This restriction helps deliver an action-packed contest that forces each fighter to possess highly advanced fighting skills before he or she enters the ring, and also requires them to be in peak physical condition. Fighters who compete in Shin Do Kumaté must have strong credentials, and the components that are factored in to determine match ups with other opponents are of course amateur record combined with pro record, but more importantly the trainer or master of the fighter.

Shin Do Kumate fight programs feature six events annually on Pay Per View and Video On Demand through cable and satellite providers. In addition to its pay television platform, Shin Do Kumate fight programs are distributed throughout the world in multiple international markets such as New Zealand, Australia, Germany, England, Korea, Israel, Romania, Africa, Middle East, Canada, and South America. The distribution of Shin Do Kumate is growing at record speed due to the extraordinary caliber of fighters and explosive knockout bouts.
